Sadly, approximately one fifth of pregnancies end in miscarriage, often in the first three months.

It is common to experience feelings such as grief, loss, guilt, anger or depression when dealing with the shock and sadness of a miscarriage. People grieve in different ways, and for different lengths of time. For some it can be helpful in coming to terms with the experience to talk to someone.
